MAJET Hanami 2017
SPRING TIME IN MIYAGI!
Hanami (花見) is the annual Japanese tradition of going to the park with your friends and family, making some sweet Top Chef-level bentos, and pretending to be introspective about the fleeting nature of the falling sakura. It's a time for food and drinks to be shared among friends, families, and co-workers!
To celebrate Hanami, MAJET will be hosting a Hanami party! The event will be held in Ogawara, famous for its Thousand Sakura Trees!
We're planning to host it on April 15th at around 11 am, although this could change depending on the weather.
This is a free event! So, just bring any picnic items you need. Food and drinks for yourself and others, cushions, some (light) tunes, a deck of cards..etc. etc....
IN CASE OF RAIN/INCLEMENT WEATHER...
Don’t panic. We will do our best to tell you the day before whether hanami is happening or not. In the event of bad weather, we will organize an alternative event, however, it may be a different time and meeting space, so check your emails/texts before leaving the house!
