Did you know that Miyagi's Ambassador Pokemon is Lapras? There are 35 decorative Lapras Manhole Covers all over Miyagi! Why Snubbull and eggplants? Sendai Nasu are a special kind of eggplant that was grown since Date Masemune's time. They're notably small and long and used in a specialty dish, Sendai Naganasu Zuke, which is basically pickled eggplant. Snubbull because Snubbull is cute. |
