Now that we have said goodbye to the leavers, it is time to welcome new Sendai and Miyagi JETs to our lovely prefecture!
This year's Welcome Party will be on Saturday, August 22. Please sign up using the Google Doc form by Saturday, August 15.

Come get to know each other over food and drinks at 匠 (takumi) in Ichibancho and join us for karaoke and dancing later!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday!! It was our first event as the new MAJET Committee and it was a lot of fun! 

Hanami season is just around the corner and that means sitting under the cherry tree blossoms, eating your favorite J-foods like yakitori, karaage, and takoyaki, and some drinking times with friends, and often some random Japanese people as well.  Here is the sakura report (yes, they have one of those):
