There's a basketball tournament coming up in Niigata. MAJET is looking to bring a team down. We'll probably be coming down on October 12th, a day before the games start, because of the long drive. Please email MAJET (miyagi@ajet.net) if you are interested. We especially need females to join (one must be on the floor at all times). Carpooling will be available and a first come first serve basis.

Check out the events facebook page for more info.

WHO: ALTs, Japanese locals, anyone! Nation-wide recruitment!
WHAT: Epic basketball, epic drinking, epic hot springs, epic internationalizing!
WHERE: Beautiful Matsunoyama in Niigata prefecture (Gym, Ryokan reserved all for ourselves, Awesome hot springs)
WHEN: 10/13-10/14

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Day 1 - EPIC Throwdown for EPIC bragging rights with your team for the EPIC trophy! Who will win it all this time???
Day 2 - Mixed teams - Make new friends and play with (mostly) new teammates!

TEAMS: Please form a team that includes at least 1 female player (this is a co-ed tournament). Teams should have a minimum of 8 players, not to exceed 12.
